HOW DO I RECEIVE A CLAIM NUMBER?
You will receive a claim number from your insurance company when you report your accident to them. Please bring this number to our auto body shop before we begin the repairs on your car.
IS YOUR AUTO BODY SHOP OPEN ON SATURDAYS?
Yes, we have hours on Saturday. We are open from 8:30 a.m. till 12 p.m. on Saturday.
WILL THE PARTS MY CAR NEEDS FOR REPAIRS BE ORDERED BEFORE I DROP OFF MY CAR?
Yes, absolutely. Typically, we order parts once your insurance company (or whoever is paying the balance) approves the estimate. The next step is scheduling the drop off of your vehicle a couple of days after the estimate is approved. We will assist you with renting a car right away if your car isn’t drivable.
IS MY CAR FIXABLE IF THE VEHICLE’S FRAME IS DAMAGED?
No, your car is still fixable. The only time we consider a car a total loss is when the cost of the repairs exceeds what your insurance company determines is the value of the car. With today’s technology, our certified technicians are able to restore your vehicle back to its factory specifications with the help of our computer measuring system. If it turns out the frame section of your car is damaged beyond repair, that specific section of the frame can be replaced.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO MATCH THE EXACT PAINT COLOR OF MY CAR?
Today’s modern factory paint finishes have several layers of extremely specialized paints. At Lee’s Garage, we have invested in the best paint system on the market, and we are consistently making upgrades to the technology of our system so we can guarantee that each vehicle’s paint matches exactly. We take pride in providing our customers with factory paint finishes as the last step in the repair and restoration process.
IF I WANT OTHER WORK DONE ON MY CAR, WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE IT DONE WHILE MY CAR IS IN THE BODY SHOP?
Yes, of course. Please specify to your advisor what other work you would like done, and they will make the necessary plans.
WHEN WILL THE REPAIRS BE DONE ON MY CAR?
When you speak to your advisor, they will give you an estimate on the time it will take to finish the repairs to your car. Your advisor will be able to address this question with you.
WILL SOMEONE BE ABLE TO GIVE ME A RIDE IF I NEED ONE?
Yes, we provide a pickup and drop-off service to all of our customers. We are here to serve you. Let us know if we can provide this service to you.
CAN YOU HELP ME MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A RENTAL CAR?
We can help you make arrangements for a rental car if you need one. Typically, car insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option in your specific plan. Please check your car insurance plan.
WILL SOMEONE CALL ME WHEN THE REPAIRS ARE FINISHED ON MY CAR?
We will get in contact with you when the repairs are finished. On our website, you will be able to see a message next to the picture of your car if your vehicle is ready to be picked up. You can email or call your advisor while your car is in our auto body shop to ask them any questions you might have.
IS THERE A WARRANTY OR A GURANTEE ON THE REPAIRS DONE TO MY CAR?
Yes, absolutely. We guarantee our work by providing a Lifetime Warranty.
WILL I BE REQUIRED TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE?
You are required to pay the deductible that your insurance company requires when you select a policy. If you have a broad collision policy, and the accident wasn’t your fault, most likely your car insurance company will not require you to pay the deductible fee. If you are wondering whether or not you will have to pay a deductible or how much it is, you can call your car insurance company and your agent will be able to tell you the details.
WHO RECEIVES THE DEDUCTIBLE FEE IF I HAVE ONE?
If you do have to pay a deductible, you will need to pay us when you pick up your car. If you aren’t sure whether your deductible has been waived or not, you will need to call your car insurance company and speak with an agent.
DO YOU ACCEPT CASH, CREDIT/DEBIT, OR CHECK?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks. Although, the easiest way to pay us is to submit your insurance claim check to Lee’s Garage for payment.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN BETTERMENT CHARGES?
Parts that are worn out on your vehicle and need to be replaced during the repair process fall under betterment charges. Examples of these parts are tires, batteries, and suspension parts. Your insurance company determines betterment charges. These charges are pro-rated depending on the amount of mileage your car posses.
HOW LONG AFTER I PICK UP MY CAR, WILL I BE ABLE TO WASH IT?
We recommend the following guidelines in the first 30 Days after Repairs:
DO: You can wash your car with cool water and a mild solution made for cars. Be sure to use a soft cloth or sponge. It is important to use clean water. Make sure to park your car in the shade.
DON’T: We don’t recommend using a commercial car wash since the brushes could wreck the finish or damage the surface of your vehicle. Dry wiping can also scratch the finish of your car. We recommend that you not wash your car using any of these methods in the first 30 days since it is most likely to chip at the finish. Also, please avoid parking under trees since bird poop contains a high acid content that has the ability to damage fresh paint on your car. Tree sap is another thing to watch out for as the sap can ruin freshly painted surfaces. Avoid spilling substances such as gasoline, oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, or windshield solution on your newly painted car. You will also want to avoid scraping ice or snow from your car with a newly painted surface.
